Harsh Pandya

Harsh R. Pandya brings a wealth of experience to the field of regulatory compliance and risk management as the current VP of Product at Saifr, a RegTech company incubated by Fidelity Labs. With a strong academic and applied foundation in political economy and data science, Harsh has made significant strides in the development, testing, and implementation of machine learning algorithms and AI platforms tailored for national security and regulatory risk compliance, with a particular focus on financial sector security.

Prior to joining Saifr, Harsh was President at Giant Oak Inc.. where he grew company’s government and financial services portfolios, culminating in a successful acquisition by a major financial services company. His leadership in pushing the envelope in applied technology development through innovative AI applications has set new performance benchmarks in the industry. Harsh's advice is regularly sought by industry stakeholders, US government agencies, and global regulatory agencies, to assist in decoding and interpreting data science products, machine learning technologies, and artificial intelligence.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Harsh is passionate about education and mentorship of then next generation, teaching graduate courses on data science for national security and the political economy of organized violence. His dedication to nurturing future leaders extends to his role as Co-Director of Youth Activities for BAPS North America, where he volunteers his services to support programs and activities for over 10,000 youths across the continent.

Harsh has earned an MA in Politics from NYU and an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University, and was a doctoral student at NYU in Politics before returning to the private sector.
