Continuing Education
Attendees can earn Continuing Education (“CE”) credit for attending sessions at the 2024 NSCP National Conference.
CE Credits Available at the 2024 NSCP National Conference
NSCP will once again be offering the opportunity for attendees to receive Continuing Education (“CE”) credit(s) at the 2024 National Conference!
13.2 total credits will be available for 50-minute hour designations (e.g., CPE, CLE 50-minute states, & other 50-minute hour designations)
11.0 total credits will be available for 60-minute hour designations (e.g., IL & TX CLE (4.5 ethics available), CLE 60-Minute States, & other 60-minute hour designations)
CLE (States of IL & TX) and CPE
• NSCP will apply for pre-approval to award CLE credits for the National Conference from the MCLE Illinois and the State Bar of Texas.
• All certificates of attendance (“COA”) awarded for CLE (IL & TX) and CPE list the number of credits earned as the National Conference will be pre-approved for CLE and NSCP is a current sponsor with the NASBA.
CE for Other Designations (not CLE (IL & TX) or CPE)
• A general COA will be awarded to those who seek CE credit for designations other than CLE (IL & TX) or CPE.
• General COAs do not include ‘credits earned’ as NSCP does not apply for pre-approval from any organizations other than for CLE (IL & TX) & CPE and cannot guarantee that every designation will recognize NSCP as an accredited provider for in-person/ online/virtual/distance learning and thus many choose not to award you credit for this event.
• Anyone who receives a general COA will need to self-apply for CE credit with the governing board for their designation.
Receiving CE for the 2024 NSCP National Conference is as easy as 1 - 2 - 3 !

Choose “Yes” to the Continuing Education question when registering for the conference, providing the requested information.
If you have already registered for the conference and did not register for CE, email certification@nscp.org PRIOR to the conference to update your registration.
-
You MUST verify your attendance for each CE eligible session that you attend and you need CE credit for by scanning the QR code at the entry door before the start of the session.
If you are unable to scan due to a technical issue, you must notify NSCP Staff via email @ certfication@nscp.org within the first 15 minutes of that session to confirm your attendance in order to receive credit. Your email should include your name, session #, and scan issue.
No Scan – No Credit – No Exceptions.
-
All certificates of attendance (COA) will be sent to attendees via email from NSCP within 4-5 weeks after the conference has concluded.
NSCP will provide those attendees who registered for CE with a COA, awarding credit for sessions that attendance was verified by a successful scan.
No Scan – No Credit – No Exceptions.
NSCP will ONLY apply for pre-approval of Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) with the MCLE Board of the Supreme Court of Illinois and the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism.
If you need CLE credit in a state other than Illinois, you will need to self-apply to the state you are licensed using the Certificate of Attendance provided by NSCP. Illinois is a 60 minute state and is also a reciprocal state for the majority of other states for CLE and their pre-approval is widely accepted by other state bars.
