Cesar Alvarez

Cesar Alvarez joined Lighthouse's compliance team in 2008 and was appointed as the Chief Compliance Officer in 2016. Cesar administers Lighthouse's compliance program and is responsible for ensuring that the firm maintains compliance with various federal, state, and international regulations. Before joining Lighthouse, Cesar began his professional career with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in 2000 and most recently served as an investigations manager in FINRA's Market Regulation division. Cesar earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Cesar is a member of the bar of the State of Maryland.
