Paul Saroj (Moderator)
As Senior Vice President of Regulatory Enforcement and Remediation, Paul leads all administration services for enforcement matters and voluntary remediations. He executes on orders where disgorgement is delivered back to impacted investors, handling all reporting to regulatory bodies. Paul’s experienced in handling matters with the SEC, FTC, FINRA, FDIC, Department of Labor, and state level and municipality enforcement actions. Paul is known for his responsiveness and is a trusted neutral third party to all remediation clients including in-house counsel, compliance officers, defense counsel, and regulators.
Prior to Simpluris, Paul served on the leadership team as Principal for SAR Capital Management, where he oversaw regulatory remediation, capital markets servicing and diligence, data product management, legal administration, and strategic servicing management for private equity and public financial services clients.
Paul has created and managed hundreds of regulatory controls for OCC/FRB consent orders, National Mortgage Settlement, CFPB, and the US Bankruptcy Code. Paul served as Vice President of Default and Servicing at HSBC Mortgage and Consumer Lending, building and leading operational, strategic, and quality assurance teams through some of the most critical regulatory remediation and compliance activities for bankruptcy, foreclosure, escrow/ tax, insurance, short-sale, deed-in-lieu, and billing statements.
Paul earned his MBA, with honors, from Clarkson University and his BA, with honors, from State University of New York Plattsburgh.
