Myrto Koimtzoglou

Myrto Koimtzoglou the Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer at Valley Strong Credit Union. With more than 20 years of expertise in the financial industry, she oversees the Credit Union’s regulatory compliance and risk management functions. Myrto has established herself as a formidable presence in banking and wealth management regulatory matters.

Myrto is a lawyer with a JD degree from Aristotle University (School of Law) in Greece and an LLM (master's in law) from the London School of Economics. A true citizen of the world, she was born and raised in Greece, educated in London, spent time in a French exchange program and has been living in the U.S. for nearly 10 years.

Myrto is a passionate volunteer for causes she strongly believes in. She has provided pro bono legal representation to single moms in London and currently sits on the board for a Chinese preschool and serves at the Children’s Museum of Art of San Francisco handling the compliance and legal work for both. She is an influential female executive, seamlessly blending her passion for leadership and impactful philanthropy in all that does.

Outside of work, Myrto treasurers the time with her husband and two children. She is an enthusiastic traveler, seeking the sun, sand, and water, sharing her passion for scuba diving with her husband.
