Louis Dempsey
Louis Dempsey is the Founder and President of Renaissance Regulatory Services, Inc., a consulting firm that offers a full range of regulatory compliance support and consulting services to investment advisers, broker-dealers, and other financial institutions. Louis has over 30 years of public and private sector regulatory compliance and operations experience, which includes a unique combination of regulatory examination and consulting experience relating to federal, state, and self-regulatory rules and regulations. He previously served as a Branch Chief with the Securities and Exchange Commission and a Financial Specialist with the State of Florida Division of Securities and Investor Protection. He currently serves on several NSCP committees including the Governance, Conference, Broker-dealer, CSCP, and Joan Hinchman Award, and is a frequent participant at NSCP events. He is a past President and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Florida Securities Dealers Association (FSDA) as the Chair of the Membership Committee, and is a member of the Association of SEC Alumni. Mr. Dempsey has qualified for several industry professional designations including the NSCP Certified Securities Compliance Professional (CSCP), FINRA Certified Regulatory Compliance Professional, and Certified Anti-money Laundering Specialist.
