Johnine Barnes

Johnine P. Barnes, Shareholder and Chair of the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Greenberg Traurig LLP’s Washington, DC office, is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University (magna cum laude 1992) and School of Law (1995). Nationally recognized by the Legal 500 U.S. Guide for her counselling and compliance practice regarding both federal and state employment laws, Johnine counsels and represents companies ranging in size from Fortune 10 to small family businesses, government agencies, and associations.

Additionally, Johnine, who has been recognized by Lawdragon 500 as Leading Lawyer in America, and as a Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyer and the Washington Business Journal as a Diverse Business Leader, is experienced defending and litigating employment claims of harassment, retaliation, discrimination, wrongful discharge, and breach of contract, as well as business litigation matters.
