Claudia Massaia
Claudia Massaia has been a Brazilian Compliance professional for over ten years. She is a LLM student at Fordham University in the Corporate Compliance Program (to be concluded in 2023). Claudia has significant experience in corporate monitorships, compliance programs, M&A projects, and due diligence for vetting third parties. She has further experience in internal investigations and drafting legal memorandum on Brazilian’s anti-corruption legislation and other compliance matters. Claudia is certified internationally as a compliance professional (CCEP-I) by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics; and certified as a compliance professional by excellent knowledge by LEC – Legal, Ethics & Compliance. She is also a compliance professor. Claudia is recognized in Chambers Global 2023, Chambers Brazil 2022, and the Brazilian publications Análise Advocacia Mulher and Análise Editorial 2022. Member of the NYC Bar Association, American Foreign Law Association, Women in White Collar Defense Association, and Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce. Further experience in Corporate Law and Contracts. She is a Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, and good communication in Spanish.
