Brenda Vaughn

Brenda Vaughn is a Vice President and Officer of Ameriprise Financial, where she leads a large team of professionals who supervises activity between financial advisors and clients including annuity and insurance product sales and investment and financial advice. In addition, Brenda leads a cross-organizational Women’s Strategy Leadership Team, with the mission to expand Ameriprise's presence as the Firm of Choice for Women.

Brenda has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years in a variety of roles and is a Certified Public Accountant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) professional. She holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Augsburg University and became a Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional through Wharton Executive Education in partnership with FINRA.

Brenda and her husband, Jay, have been actively involved in both the Coon Rapids and Minneapolis communities for years through volunteering and financial support of causes important to them. They enjoy everything outdoors at their cabin in northern MN. They have four children and five grandchildren, and they share their home with two cats.
