Supriya Kapoor is a seasoned investment compliance executive with approximately 30 years of financial services experience including 20 years in investment compliance (15 years as a CCO). In 2018 Supriya launched Aurelius GRP (Canada), a consultancy offering investment regulatory, policy and governance solutions to registrants. Supriya has experience across multiple jurisdictions, asset classes, investors, products and registration categories at both small privately owned and large multinational public entities. She also has deep experience working with executive management, operations, finance and marketing departments to facilitate the development and execution of enterprise strategies. Supriya is a subject matter expert in regulatory compliance, corporate governance, risk management, and conflicts of interest management who is well respected and sought out by industry peers. Supriya is co-Chair of the Legal, Finance and Compliance Committee at AIMA, a member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Registrant Advisory Committee, the AIMA representative to the Canadian Securities Administrators Client Focused Reforms Implementation Committee, a member of the Canadian Committee of NSCP, a member of Independent Review Committees and the former Chair of the Practices and Standards Committee at Portfolio Management Association of Canada. Supriya has spoken at a number of conferences including PMAC, NSCP, AIMA, TSAM and HFM. Supriya holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from Queen’s University and the Certified Public Accountant designation (Delaware).
