Krista Brookman is Senior Vice President, DEI Strategy and Global Client Services at the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), the preeminent voice on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal industry. MCCA provides data-driven research, professional development, and advisory services to advance the hiring, retention, and promotion of diverse attorneys in law departments and law firms.
At MCCA, Krista is responsible for MCCA’s Advisory Practice (M.A.P.) and is focused on providing data-informed DEI strategies, tools, expertise, and actions to enhance DEI impact and outcomes for new and existing MCCA members.
Previously, Krista was Vice President at Catalyst, the nonprofit focused on accelerating progress for women through workplace inclusion. At Catalyst, she was instrumental in developing the strategy and delivery of skill-based DEI leadership development and diagnostic tools. During her time at Catalyst, Krista advised on DEI-focused strategic solutions for F100 clients, grew external partnerships, and, in 2014, ran the Catalyst Awards Conference and Dinner.
Krista has nearly 25 years of management experience including her previous roles at Deloitte and Foley & Lardner. At Deloitte, Krista directed the marketing efforts for Deloitte’s national manufacturing practice where she led the creation of the Women in Manufacturing initiative and was the local marketing leader for Deloitte’s Women’s Initiative and Diversity & Inclusion programs.
