Supervisory Special Agent Jonathan Walthers joined the FBI in 2010. From 2010 to 2015, Jonathan was assigned to the FBI New York Field Office (NYFO). While assigned to the FBI NYFO, he primarily worked securities fraud investigations to include market manipulation, insider trading, and investment fraud. In 2015, he transferred to the FBI Los Angeles Field Office (LAFO). While assigned to the FBI LAFO, he worked public corruption and securities fraud. In 2019, he was transferred to FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. and was selected to serve as the SEC detailee. Prior to joining the FBI Jonathan worked for Booz Allen Hamilton in 2009 and served in the USMC as an infantry officer from 2004 to 2009. He has an MBA from Pepperdine University and a bachelor’s degree in finance from UNLV.
