Brad Ahrens is a Vice President in Schwab’s Corporate Enterprise Risk Management Department overseeing the Corporate & Compliance Risk Technology, Analytics and Change Management group. The team is focused on providing expertise in the development, implementation, coordination and execution of risk technology and change management throughout the department while providing business side administration of the broker-dealer, manipulative trading, AML/BSA, and electronic communications surveillance systems and GRC tools for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and Charles Schwab Bank. His team also provides innovative analytics and data engineering solutions across the firm’s Corporate Risk Management division. Brad has been at Schwab for over twenty two years and has extensive experience in a wide variety of compliance and risk management areas including retail sales practice, customer complaints, employee investigations, manipulative trading, options, representative compensation, AML, CDD, supervision/controls, surveillance, GRC, model risk management, technology implementations, record retention, and regulatory inquiries and examinations. Brad is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison with a BA in International Relations – Political Economy and Policy Studies.
