Adina I. Dorch, daughter of two United States Air Force veterans, is a native of Washington, DC. She received her undergraduate degree in Corporate Communications with a minor in African American Literature and Studies from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina. She received her Juris Doctor from Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law; and her Master of Laws in Taxation from Villanova University, Charles Widger School of Law. Adina is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and before the Supreme Court of the United States (she has a big plaque in her office to prove it).
For nearly 20 years, Adina has devoted her time to tax and employee benefits matters in the public sector, specializing in retirement, health, and welfare benefit plans. As in-house counsel for prominent non-discretionary and discretionary third-party financial service providers in both the private and public sector, Adina has gained a unique and intimate perspective of the compliance considerations faced by plan sponsors, administrators, and fiduciaries in an evolving regulatory landscape. She appreciates most the opportunities she has to work with a diverse mix of people, from call center representatives to members of boards and executive leadership.
In her free time, Adina is a professional paper-crafter, hard cover enthusiast, and aspiring art collector. She enjoys traveling, walking food tours, and escape rooms with her family.
